ADVANCED WHITE WATER PROGRESSION​

 

The Details

 

This 3 day course is designed for the advanced paddler looking to gain confidence and skill on  grade 3/4 (5) white water.

 

This course also includes the BCAB Advanced White Water Personal Performance Award!

Using a learner led approach the 3 days will be designed around the the individual needs and aspirations of each paddler.

The topics covered during this course will include but are not limited to;

• Equipment considerations when paddling in a advanced water environment

• Decision making and environmental considerations

• Technical and tactical paddling concepts and strategies 

• Rolling on grade 3

• Incident and casualty management in an advanced environment 

• Safe paddling strategies

This course is usually based in North Wales or Scotland.
